Dance team coach charged with theft
A Reynolds High dance team instructor has been charged with forgery and theft involving allegedly altered checks and money missing from an account to offset competition ticket money.
Heather Blackwell, 23, Fairview, was cited and released following an investigation into the missing money. Jenifer Goss, Reynolds school resources officer from the Troutdale Police, informed parents by e-mail on Tuesday that she had completed her investigation of the matter, charged Blackwell and turned the matter over to the Multnomah County district attorney.
Troutdale Police Sergeant Marc Shrake said cases sent to the grand jury can take as long as a month to be decided.
