County needs new commissioners
Coalition will meet on third Tuesday of the month
Clackamas County Commissioners are seeking nine volunteers to serve on the Disability Advocates Coalition for two-year terms. The coalition advises the local office of Aging and Disability Services, which serves people with disabilities and other state and local agencies.
The Disability Advocates Coalition advises, educates and advocates concerning policies, quality of services, the Americans with Disabilities Act and other areas important to people with disabilities.
The Disability Advocates Coalition meets at 1:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month in the Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City.
Interested individuals may complete and submit an application form online via the county's Web site, http://www.clackamas.us/citizenin/app.jsp. Otherwise, they may contact either Citizen Involvement, 503-655-8552, or the Social Services Division, 503-655-8215, at 2051 Kaen Road in Oregon City, for an application form.
