Clinton headed to Southern Oregon
Other campaign events could be announced
Sen. Hillary Clinton will make a campaign stop in Southern Oregon's Jackson County Thursday, May 8, during a two-day swing through the state.
The Democratic presidential contender will hold a 'Solutions for America' town hall gathering that evening at the Olsrud Arena on the Jackson County Fairgrounds and Expo Park in Central Point.
It was the first announced event in Clinton's latest visit to Oregon prior to the May 20 primary election. Other events are planned, but have not been announced by her campaign.
Clinton is battling Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination. Her visit comes about a month after she spent a day with crowds in Hillsboro and Eugene.
Ballots for Oregon's vote-by-mail primary election went in the mail Friday, May 2.
