Drivers beware – the Lake Run is Saturday

Don't let thousands of pedestrians hitting the streets of downtown Lake Oswego catch you off-guard Saturday. It's time for the 32nd annual Lake Run.
Runners and supporters will gather downtown at Millennium Plaza Park early on Saturday morning as the first race begins at 8 a.m.. Events are expected to run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. when the Family Fun Festival closes.
The events are put together by the Lake Oswego Junior Women's Club.
Southbound traffic on State Street will be stopped from A Avenue to McVey five minutes before the 5K run at 8 a.m. and five minutes before the 12K run at 8:30 a.m.
Traffic on Iron Mountain Boulevard between Summit Drive and Berwick Road will only move behind a pilot car.
North Shore Road will close for the 5K Run between State Street and Iron Mountain Boulevard.
Evergreen Road from First to Tenth streets will be closed through the completion of all races.
