Bus, MAX collision disrupts downtown transit service

Tuesday morning accident cleared by 7:40 a.m.
A collision between a TriMet bus and a MAX train Tuesday morning disrupted downtown Portland transit service for a short time.
TriMet officials said that at about 7 a.m., the Line 45 bus collided with a light-rail train at Southwest Sixth Avenue and Jefferson Street. Some of the bus passengers received minor injuries.
The accident was cleared and service retuned to normal by 7:40 a.m., TriMet reported. The transit agency is investigating the accident.
