Lake Oswego Police are searching for witnesses to a robbery and assault that occurred June 12 at about 10:30 p.m. on Fifth Street.
A 16-year-old victim was walking home from the Safeway store through First Addition when he was attacked from behind by two men near Fifth Street's intersection with B Avenue.
The teen reported he was punched in the face by the suspects, then his wallet was stolen, police said. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance and treated for a 'moderate' concussion, according to police.
No suspects have been identified in the crime. Taken in the robbery were the victim's school identification, driver's license and house key.
Police believe there were a number of people in the area at the time and that someone may have information that could lead to an arrest.
'If anybody witnessed this they are encouraged to contact the police department,' said Capt. Don Forman.
Anyone with information is asked to call 503-635-0250.
