Three people were wounded in two suspected gang-related shootings over the weekend.
No one was killed in either incident.
The first shooting happened around 10:42 p.m. on Saturday in Raymond Park, located on the 11800 block of S.E. Liebe St. When Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to reports of shots fired, they found a 16-year-old victim suffering from a single gunshot to the right leg. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police describe the suspect as a black male teen wearing a red hat.
The second incident happened around 2:08 a.m. inside the Interstate Bar and Grill, located at North Interstate and Skidmore. When North Precinct officers responded to reports of shots fired, they found a 32-year-old male suffering from two gunshot wounds, one to the abdomen and one to the leg. He was transported to an area hospital. Initial reports are that both wounds are non-life-threatening.
Police say a second gunshot victim also walked into a local hospital. He is a 25-year-old male, who was shot once in the leg. His injury is not life threatening.
