8/4/08 10:27 p.m. Paul Michael Benson, 38, was arrested on suspicion of violating probation and driving while suspended. He was taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/5/08 7:05 p.m. William Ward, 60, was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/7/08 12:12 a.m. Matthew Edward Overall, 19, was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and trespassing and lodged at the Clackamas County Jail.
8/7/08 12:28 p.m. Scott Wayne Jones, 43, was cited and released on suspicion of driving while suspended.
8/7/08 2:21 p.m. Anthony Thomas Cannard, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and taken to a Multnomah County jail.
8/8/08 3:40 a.m. David J. Inkpen, 57, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/8/08 1:29 p.m. David Allen Hardison, 48, was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended and taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/8/08 1:35 p.m. Timur Van Dykes, 52, was cited and released on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender.
8/10/08 4:58 a.m. A juvenile was taken to the Clackamas County Juvenile Resource Center on charges of theft.
8/10/08 3:07 p.m. Phillip Moore Hickey, 20, was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and taken to a Multnomah County jail.
8/4/08 4:09 p.m. A Versis game center and a hydrant were taken from a business on State Street after a break-in.
8/6/08 1:38 a.m. Trenton D. Walker, 22, was arrested on suspicion of DUII on Morningview Circle. He was taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/7/08 2:06 a.m. Paige Louise Peterson, 38, was arrested on suspicion of DUII on Boones Ferry Road and taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/10/08 2:37 p.m. Erin E. Macelhenny, 40, was arrested on suspicion of DUII on A Avenue. She was taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
8/4/08 12:54 p.m. Injuries were unknown in a car crash at Tenth Street and Boones Ferry Road.
8/4/08 9:38 p.m. A reported car crash on Bergis Road turned out to be a tire blowout.
8/6/08 2:37 p.m. A child was not injured after being struck by a car in a parking lot on Jefferson Parkway.
8/6/08 5:18 p.m. No one was hurt when two cars collided on Country Club Road.
8/8/08 10:45 a.m. There were no injuries in a two-car crash at Bergis and Stafford roads.
8/8/08 2:24 p.m. No one was injured when two cars collided on Boones Ferry Road at Madrona Street.
8/10/08 1:11 p.m. No one was hurt when two cars collided at Boones Ferry and Country Club roads.
8/11/08 5:44 a.m. There were injuries reported in a car crash on Mt. Jefferson Terrace.
8/4/08 10:55 a.m. A stereo was taken from a car on River Run Drive.
8/4/08 4:02 p.m. A 17-foot Sea Swirl boat was vandalized and the battery stolen while it was moored at the Goodin easement.
8/5/08 10:26 a.m. A purse was reported missing.
8/5/08 4:40 p.m. A computer disk, procedural manual and files were reported stolen.
8/6/08 1:34 p.m. A wallet and its contents were stolen from a car on Rivers Edge Drive.
8/7/08 8:53 a.m. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked car on Rivers Edge Drive.
8/7/08 10:28 a.m. Lumber was taken from a Lower Drive location.
8/7/08 5:08 p.m. A license plate was taken from a car on Pilkington Road.
8/8/08 1:32 p.m. A woman in a red Jeep pulled some plants from the median on A Avenue.
8/10/08 1:39 a.m. A cell phone and radio headset were taken from a car on Burnham Road. The window of the car was smashed.
8/10/08 11:04 a.m. An iPod was taken from a car on Burnham Road.
8/11/08 12:33 a.m. Jewelry worth $30,000 was taken from a local home.
8/4/08 9:03 a.m. Several bags of trash were dumped in front of a house under construction on Maple Circle.
8/4/08 10:25 a.m. A man was taken to a hospital after attempting suicide.
8/4/08 11:41 a.m. An elderly man who was sitting with his legs in traffic told police he was waiting for a repairman. This occurred on Overlook Drive.
8/4/08 1:00 p.m. People at the Lake Grove Car Wash were 'contacted regarding language.'
8/4/08 3:08 p.m. A restraining order violation was reported.
8/4/08 4:30 p.m. A woman who found a two-year-old walking in the street got an unwelcome reception from the child's mother when she brought the toddler home.
8/4/08 4:55 p.m. Trash was piling up around a house on Mapleleaf Road.
8/4/08 5:15 p.m. An erratic driver kept slamming on the brakes on Boones Ferry Road.
8/4/08 7:16 p.m. Two young boys were driving recklessly in a golf cart on Foothills Drive.
8/4/08 10:14 p.m. A car collided with a web of duct tape that had been stretched across Glenmorrie Road.
8/4/08 11:57 p.m. Tape was spanning the road, now on Glenmorrie Drive, and one driver complained a rock was thrown as he passed through.
8/5/08 7:17 a.m. Police responding to a barking dog complaint arrived at a pet-free home on Greentree Road.
8/5/08 9:54 p.m. Someone drove slowly past a Lords Lane house, then spit on a car there.
8/5/08 10:51 a.m. A sign for a church on Country Club Road appeared to be violating the city sign code.
8/5/08 12:16 p.m. A woman was sitting on Maple Circle with binoculars, then writing things down.
8/5/08 2:08 p.m. Drum practice in a boat garage off Fifth Street was upsetting the neighbors.
8/5/08 3:05 p.m. A couple was arguing in a parking lot on Boones Ferry Road.
8/5/08 4:02 p.m. A woman on Country Club Road suspected foul play when a sliding door was found ajar. Her husband later told her he forgot to close it.
8/5/08 4:45 p.m. A motorist loudly directed a cyclist to the bike lane on State Street.
8/5/08 6:12 p.m. A man on Foothills Drive was throwing weird looks at the person who reported him for feeding stray cats.
8/5/08 7:00 p.m. The seemingly interminable sound of a power washer had been carrying on all day on Burnham Road.
8/5/08 7:52 p.m. A homeowner on McVey Avenue captured a squirrel after it fell out of a tree. After observing the squirrel in a cardboard box, police pronounced it healthy and released it back into the tree.
8/5/08 8:22 p.m. Residents were using a nail gun while adding an addition to their garage on Eighth Street.
8/5/08 8:25 p.m. A drunken woman was swimming in the lake to her apparent detriment.
8/6/08 1:41 a.m. A naked person was spotted walking on Monroe Parkway.
8/6/08 6:33 a.m. An aggressive female was causing a scene at the Starbucks on Boones Ferry Road.
8/6/08 8:05 a.m. A raccoon enjoyed its final moments at the base of a mailbox on Dover Way.
8/6/08 8:59 a.m. A car circled on Hidalgo, then parked. The driver walked into a wooded area.
8/6/08 9:30 a.m. A neighbor was pouring bleach solution over a fence on Pilkington Road.
8/6/08 9:34 a.m. A man who left work and never returned was not sick, just having relationship problems.
8/6/08 11:10 a.m. A driver asked to speak with a police officer about another motorist, who was suspected of using a turn signal improperly.
8/6/08 1:13 p.m. A man in the yard of a C Avenue property said he was a meter reader for both PGE and NW Natural. This seemed implausible to the homeowner but turned out to be true.
8/6/08 1:29 p.m. Overgrown weeds were spotted on Ninth Street.
8/6/08 1:54 p.m. A spokesman for Reader's Digest called a local person looking for money.
8/6/08 2:27 p.m. Garbage was piling up on Mapleleaf Road.
8/6/08 2:37 p.m. An iPod was damaged at the park on A Avenue.
8/6/08 3:38 p.m. A house on Lower Drive was egged, possibly in retaliation for its occupants asking the neighbors to quiet down.
8/6/08 3:38 p.m. A suicidal person was taken to a hospital.
8/6/08 4:10 p.m. A boy on Second Street was accused of breaking the iPod that was damaged in the park. A shouting match ensued.
8/6/08 4:54 p.m. A teen was riding in a go-cart without a helmet on Edenberry Drive.
8/6/08 8:52 p.m. Reported drug activity on State Street turned out to be a group of kids rolling cigarettes.
8/6/08 9:26 p.m. Police freed a woman locked in a public storage unit on State Street.

8/7/08 12:07 a.m. Four or five kids were reportedly smoking from a bong on Boones Ferry Road.

8/7/08 7:03 p.m. A person who fell three times while riding a bicycle was making slow progress down McVey Avenue.
8/8/08 4:17 a.m. A penniless drunken man called police to say he was having trouble getting a cab on Monroe Parkway.
8/8/08 8:24 a.m. Two trees valued at $1,000 were ripped out of Foothills Park overnight.
8/8/08 8:29 a.m. A car tire was slashed on Third Street.
8/8/08 1:34 p.m. Glen Putnam, 50, registered as a sex offender.
8/8/08 1:50 p.m. About 40 cats at a home on Douglas Circle turned out to be part of a cat rescue operation.

8/8/08 9:20 p.m. A woman found a man sitting in her car outside a store on State Street.
8/8/08 10:53 p.m. A man parked in front of a house on Springbrook Court, then shielded the light when he opened his car door and crouched around the outside of the car.
8/8/08 11:25 p.m. A drunken man left a bag of marijuana in a bar on A Avenue.
8/8/08 11:41 p.m. A bag of burning feces was tossed onto the lawn of a home on Brookhurst Drive.
8/9/08 1:38 a.m. A drunken man was taken to detox.
8/9/08 10:55 p.m. Three kids were skateboarding on a water feature on First Street.
8/10/08 2:30 a.m. A car window was smashed on Atwater Road.
8/10/08 5:58 p.m. A man called 9-1-1 to say there was an intruder in his house. A woman then picked up the line and told him to shut up. They were apparently related.
8/11/08 5:05 a.m. Garage light bulbs were removed and broken at a home on Hazel Road, where toilet paper also littered the lawn.
8/4/08 11:53 a.m. A man in a blue pickup passed a counterfeit bill at a bank on Boones Ferry Road.
8/5/08 1:11 p.m. A fraud was reported at a State Street business.
8/5/08 4:17 p.m. A local person received a check on a closed account.
8/6/08 12:42 p.m. A supposed winner in the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes was asked to send $75.
