Frank E. Witte
Frank Witte died Aug. 20, 2008. He was 61.
He was born on May 26, 1947 to Marietta and Harold Witte in Batesville, Ind. He attended high school in Lawrenceburg, Ind., and joined the army in l966 and served in the Vietnam War.
In l968, he was honorably discharged from the Army and moved to the Portland area to be with his family. He lived in Portland and Wilsonville before moving to Lake Oswego in l973.
Mr. Witte owned a landscaping business, Witte Yard Maintenance, but worked primarily as a cab driver.
He was a sports fan who enjoyed the Oregon Ducks, the Portland Trailblazers and the Cincinnati Reds.
Survivors include his mother, Marietta Davis; daughter, Treasa Witte of Lake Oswego; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jody Cagle of Beaverton; son, Clint Witte of Beaverton; brother, Bob Witte; sisters, Leatta Lynn, Lanna Jordan, Lorna Pelcha and Betty May; and three grandchildren.

Dolores (Jones) Giobbi died Aug. 11, 2008 from complications from a stroke. She was 79.
Mrs. Giobbi was born May 8, 1929 in Harvey, Ill., to Marie and William Jones.
She married John J. Giobbi in 1948, who died in 1990. Mrs. Giobbi was a 20-year volunteer with the St. James Hospital Auxiliary of Chicago Heights, the Repeat Boutique Resale Shop in Homewood, and a member of St. Agnes Church and Women's Club. She had lived at Mary's Woods in Lake Oswego for the past year.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Gayle and Mike Chisholm of Eugene and Elisa and John Mills of Portland, sons and daughters-in-law William and Maren Giobbi of Portland, Thomas and Katie Giobbi of Irving, Texas and John and Mary Giobbi of Bend, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held Aug. 16 in Chicago Heights and a memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at Province House Chapel at Mary's Woods.
