Lake Oswego's nightlife suffered a blow last week when the Ram Restaurant and Big Horn Brewery closed its doors in Foothills.
The brewery at 320 Oswego Pointe Drive, shut down Aug. 28. The building is now for lease.
The Ram's parent company, Ram International based in Lakewood, Wash., did not comment on the closure, except to thank Lake Oswego patrons in a sign in the brewery's window.
Two other Oregon restaurants belonging to The Ram - in Salem and at Clackamas Town Center - remain open.
Ram International has 14 other restaurants listed on the company's Web site. They are based in Washington, Indiana, Illinois and Idaho. The chain was launched in 1971.
The brewery's closure is the second business closure to affect Lake Oswego's downtown this summer. Oswego Lake Gallery closed its doors in Lake View Village in recent weeks.
