Arbor Homes' Trillium Woods brings housing at lower prices for Lake Oswego
by: VERN UYETAKE Trillium Woods, a new Arbor Homes housing development off Boones Ferry Road in Lake Oswego, offers customizable townhomes for a variety of buyers looking for housing with listings starting in the mid-$300,000’s.

'It's easy to share a neighborhood everyone seems interested in,' said real estate broker and community manager Taya Mower with Arbor Homes.

Tucked just off Boones Ferry Road between West Waluga Park and Lake Grove Elementary School in Lake Oswego, Arbor's new Trillium Woods luxury townhouse development at 4699 Oakridge Road breathes new life into an established neighborhood that's close to restaurants, shopping, parks and freeways.

Mower said it is this convenience - and price points starting in the mid-$300,000's - that keeps her day quite busy with visitors to the model home.

'I've seen a lot of 'downsizers' and 'empty nesters' - people who want to downsize space, not quality. There are 34 total homes in nine different floorplans,' Mower said, and four homes have already sold. 'We have four move-in ready homes right now, and six (more) can be finished by the end of the year.'

When completed, the complex - built in several phases - will feature two-, three- and four-unit buildings in a Craftsman style and all but two of them are corner units,' Mower said of the homes with attached garages.

'And they are Earth Advantage an Energy Star certified. That's a big deal,' she added.

And to keep maintenance of the complex easy, monthly HOA dues include window washing, gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and exterior pressure washing, landscaping and insurance, Mower said.

Known for its customizable features, Mower said Arbor's nearby 9,000 square foot design studio allows homebuyers options for finishing their homes - from choosing surface selections like paint, carpeting and countertops and fireplace mantles to personalized touches such as light fixtures, draperies, banisters and perhaps, cedar-lined shelves.

Being able to purchase a brand-new home with three bedrooms and a den next to a walking trail has made her job a little easier, Mower said.

The furnished model unit is 1,738 square feet, has three bedrooms, a loft and 2.5 baths and spares no details, such as the kitchen's cabinetry with soft-close features, under-cabinet lighting and maple hardwoods on the main floor.

All homes feature 9-foot ceilings on the main level.

The townhomes are available to view from Wednesday to Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

'People are so excited about this neighborhood,' Mower said, 'and being a part of a community in a park-like setting.'
