On the edge of the river

Ronald Michael Dumas, 58, lies on the ground after a crash at Foothills Park Saturday afternoon. Dumas's car reportedly struck another vehicle in the Foothills area shortly after 2 p.m., then drove onto the pedestrian path leading into the park and became marooned on the edge of the Willamette River. Dumas was arrested for reckless endangering, reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was not injured and was taken to the Clackamas County Jail.
