Police are looking for a missing schizophrenic man who was last seen in Corbett.

David Lindsay, 27, who lives in a non-secure group home in Northeast Portland, was last seen on the evening of Monday, May 30, when he took a cab to the bottom of Corbett Hill Road, said Deputy Joe Graziano, Corbett Community Resource Officer for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

Lindsay's mother said her son has no friends or connections to Corbett, but he reportedly told the cab driver he wanted to see the river, Graziano said.

Lindsay is schizophrenic and is likely out of his medication, so he may display schizophrenic symptoms such as talking to himself. He also is a heavy, smoker and he may try to steal cigarettes if he has no money.

He is a Caucasian man with blue eyes, weighs 185 pounds is 6 foot 1 inches tall and is probably wearing a gray hoodie, brown shoes and athletic pants.

Anyone who sees Lindsay should call the sheriff's office non-emergency number, 503-823-3333, or call 9-1-1.
