Man killed in Northeast Portland incident
Portland police are investigating three shootings overnight Friday and early Saturday, including a Northeast Portland homicide.
According to police, officers responded to a report of several shots fired in the area of Northeast 13th Avenue and Rosa Parks Way around 3:50 a.m. Saturday. There they found the body of a man lying in the street.
Witnesses described a possible suspect of unknown race wearing tan clothing. The victim's name was not released.
Earlier in the morning, police responded to the report of a shooting in the area of North Fesseden Street and Geneva Avenue, next to Northgate Park. When officers arrived around 2:08 a.m., they found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim's brother was in the area of the shooting but was not wounded.
Police are also investigating a shooting outside the 82nd Avenue Avenue Bar and Grill at Southeast 82nd Avenue and Raymond Street. When officers arrived at 12:55 a.m. Saturday, they found a 32-year-old women with a non-life threatening leg wound. She was taken to an area hospital. Her name was not released.
No arrests have been made in any of the incidents.
