CEPA welcomes Chief Mike Duyck this morning
Chief of Oregon's largest fire district to discuss emergency preparedness
The Columbia Emergency Preparedness Agency, CEPA, welcomes guest speaker Mike Duyck, fire chief of Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, at its meeting this morning at 10 a.m.
Duyck plans to talk about emergency preparedness, including the concepts of Local Emergency Planning Committees and neighborhood preparedness.
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue is a combination agency with approximately 447 career firefighters and support staff, and 100 volunteers. It is Oregon's largest fire district, serving a population of approximately 440,000 citizens within nine cities and portions of three counties.
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue is accredited by the Center for Public Safety Excellence Commission on Fire Accreditation International.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the 9-1-1 Communications Center at 58611 McNulty Way, St. Helens.
