THURSDAY, JUNE 9
Read and Romp (age 1 to 3) - 10 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library. Time for young children and their caregivers to play together.
Spreadsheets - 10 a.m. to noon, Gresham Library. This computer class introduces participants to the basic functions of Microsoft Excel 2007 and other free spreadsheet products.
Family Storytime - 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to age 6 with an adult.
Teen Game Night - 4 to 5 p.m., Rockwood Library. Bored? Come play one of the library's board games, or bring your own game to share.
FRIDAY, JUNE 10
Read and Romp (birth to 1 year) - 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Gresham Library. Time for babies and their caregivers to play together.
Sensory Storytime - 11:30 a.m. to noon, Gresham Library. This storytime, open to all preschoolers, is geared toward children with sensory integration issues and children who have trouble sitting through the library's other storytimes.
Write Your Own Monologue - 1 to 2:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Got something to say? Join actor Anya Hankin to write your own theatrical monologues and learn how to capture an audience. Come with your ideas and be ready to play. For teens in grades sixth through 12th.
SATURDAY, JUNE 11
Spreadsheets - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. This computer class introduces participants to the basic functions of Microsoft Excel 2007 and other free spreadsheet products. Register online, in the library or call 503-988-5234.
Family Storytime - noon to 12:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to age 6 with an adult.
Intercambio/Language Exchange - 4 to 5:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. Engage in conversation with native English speakers who want to practice Spanish and native Spanish speakers who want to practice their English.
