UPDATE: Milwaukie man back with family

Patrick George Sweeney of Milwaukie, 57, who had been listed as missing/endangered since Wednesday, June 8, was located in the early morning hours of Monday, June 13, and reunited with family members.

Milwaukie Police officials said in a statement that they are not releasing additional information "in respect for the family."

Police are requesting the public's assistance in locating 57-year-old Patrick George Sweeney of Milwaukie.

His family is extremely concerned, because Sweeney has a medical condition requiring daily medication. He was last seen Wednesday morning around 8 a.m. walking in the area of SE Logus Road and Stanley Avenue in Milwaukie. He left for an hour-long walk that morning, but never returned home.

Due to medical problems, Patrick Sweeney walks with the use of a cane. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a dark-colored sweatshirt. He is described as 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He has blue eyes, gray hair and a gray, full beard.
