The body of a 59-year-old man was recovered from the Estacada Lake area Friday, June 10, by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol officers after it was found by a fisherman earlier that day.

The Clackamas County Deputy Medical Examiner's Office has completed a formal identification of the man, but will not release the information until all attempts to complete family notifications are finished.

Investigators say the death does not appear to be suspicious, and the man is known to have an 'established history' in Clackamas County.

The body was reportedly discovered by an angler in the Estacada Lake area one mile upstream on the Clackamas River from the Estacada Boat Ramp in McIver Park.
