Library events for June 15

THURSDAY, JUNE 16

Presentations - 10 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library. This class introduces participants to the basics of Microsoft PowerPoint and suggests other free presentation products. Participants must have word processing skills. Registration is required; register online, in the library or call 503-988-5234.

Read and Romp (1 to 3 years) - 10 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library. Time for young children and their caregivers to play together.

Family Storytime - 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to 6 years old with an adult.

Teen Game Night - 4 to 5 p.m., Rockwood Library. Bored? Come play one of the library's board games, or bring your own game to share.

FRIDAY, JUNE 17

Pageturners Book Group - 10 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Read 'The Coroner's Lunch' and 'Thirty-Three Teeth' by Colin Cotterill, have a conversation about books and get to know your neighbors. Sponsored by Friends of the Library.

Read and Romp (birth to 1 year) - 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Gresham Library. Time for babies and their caregivers to play together.

Teen Council - 4:15 to 5:30 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Teen Council members work with library staff to make the library more teen-friendly.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18

Family Storytime - noon to 12:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to 6 years old with an adult.

Intercambio/Language Exchange - 4 to 5:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. Engage in conversation with native English speakers who want to practice Spanish and native Spanish speakers who want to practice their English.
