New editor is Portland native

Cathy Siegner has been named editor of the Clackamas Review and the Oregon City News by Publisher Angela Fox. Siegner started her new position June 8 after reporting for the Review and The Times of Tigard and Tualatin.
Former editor Anthony Roberts left to take an editorial position with the Multnomah Athletic Club.
A Portland native, Siegner returned home this spring after serving for nearly nine years as editor and publisher of the Queen City News in Helena, Mont., which she launched in 2002. She previously worked as an editor and reporter for other Montana and Oregon newspapers and has journalism degrees from the University of Oregon and Northwestern University.
Siegner said she's looking forward to meeting people and presenting news about this part of Clackamas County.
"What goes on out there and who's involved, and why, are big topics, and this is a big, and increasingly important, county," she said. "It's a challenge for me as a journalist, and I'm hoping I can help to do it justice for our readers."
Raymond Rendleman will continue working on both papers as news editor, but his duties will be expanded to include some special sections and helping to keep the newspapers' websites current.
Other key editorial staff at the Clackamas Review and Oregon City News are John Denny, sports editor, and Ellen Spitaleri, reporter.
