The Gresham Outlook has two new reporters joining the staff. Chad Abraham will be covering small cities and business, while Rob Cullivan will write about spiritual living and schools.
Chad comes to The Outlook after spending seven years as an editor and reporter in the Rocky Mountains.
At The Aspen Times, when he wasn't skiing or hiking, he covered the crime beat, resort development and other less-than-glamorous facets of the glitzy town.
He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's degree in journalism and then worked at several newspapers throughout Colorado, including the Greeley Tribune, the Vail Trail and the Colorado Springs Gazette.
His beat at The Outlook includes business, the cities of Fairview, Wood Village and Troutdale, and hopefully plenty of the colorful stories and characters of East County.
Rob Cullivan has joined The Outlook as our Spiritual Living and Schools reporter.
Rob was born and raised in Syracuse, N.Y., and attended St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y. From 1988-06, he wrote for the Catholic Courier, a newspaper of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester.
From 1995-02, he was a contributing writer to City Newspaper in Rochester, and wrote pop, rock and folk music features. He has also freelanced for Rochester Business Journal, Business to Business and Deacon Digest, as well as Catholic News Service in Washington, D.C., and the Irish Echo in New York City.
