BURGLARIES

6/9/11 8:43 a.m. A Weight Watchers group was victimized by a burglar while it was meeting at the Church of Christ on Country Club Road.

6/11/11 1:56 p.m. A valuable pendant worth $7,165 was burglarized from a house on Twin Fir Road. However, it also might have been simply misplaced.

6/13/11 5:04 p.m. A residential burglary was suspected when a man carrying a large trash bag over his shoulder was seen emerging from a house. It is suspected it was the same man who had mowed the lawn earlier that day.

ACCIDENTS

6/8/11 11:26 a.m. A driver on Foothills Drive backed his vehicle into a man's Silverado and caused $1,800 in damage.

6/10/11 9:16 a.m. A hit-and-run accident on Bangy Road resulted in $583 damage to a red Hyundai Sonata.

6/10/11 1:01 p.m. There was $1,200 in damage inflicted on a vehicle's rear fender in a hit-and-run accident on A Avenue.

6/12/11 11:36 p.m. A wild driver in a gray Range Rover nearly ran a sportscar off the road on Boones Ferry and Country Club roads.

THEFT

6/7/11 11:59 a.m. ID theft is thought to be responsible for a credit card being illegally used to take $776.

6/8/11 1:51 p.m. A thief broke into a Mercedes on Burnham Road and took objects valued at $100.

6/9/11 10:48 a.m. A cello bow valued at $17,000 was stolen from its case following a college concert.

6/10/11 6:07 a.m. A pair of sunglasses and a small amount of change were stolen from a Lexus parked on Winthrop Court. The value was set at $100.

6/10/11 8:50 a.m. A car parked on Melrose Place was broken into and robbed of items valued at $1,655, including a camera, purse, driver's license and four credit cards.

6/10/11 10:43 a.m. A minor theft from a car on Fosberg Road resulted in the stealing of change, utility knife and other insignificant items.

6/10/11 12:39 p.m. A newspaper was taken twice from a woman's paperbox over the past week.

6/10/11 8:25 p.m. A thief smashed a window on a Lexus on Boones Ferry Road and stole an iPod worth $399.

6/10/11 8:37 p.m. A makeup bag was stolen from a Ford Expedition by a window-smashing thief.

6/11/11 6:35 p.m. A strange theft occurred on Parkview Drive. A woman's purse and laptop bag were missing. Later, she found they had been returned. However, her driver's license and credit cards were gone.

6/12/11 10:34 p.m. A laptop computer valued at $1,500 was stolen from a hotel room on Meadows Road.

6/13/11 3:07 p.m. A thief entered an unlocked vehicle on Parkview Drive and took cables, chargers, Blue Tooth and a makeup bag.

6/13/11 3:54 p.m. Cash, change and checks were stolen from a gold Toyota parked on Parkview Drive.

MISC

6/7/11 12:31 p.m. A CPA hired by a woman is calling up to yell at her and is refusing to return her legal documents.

6/7/11 1:52 p.m. An injured osprey hatchling was spotted on a cell tower on Lakeview Boulevard.

6/7/11 3:21 p.m. Five teens carried a kayak through a woman's yard on Bryant Road, heading toward the Kelok Canal.

6/7/11 3:23 p.m. An ex-husband is suspected of tapping his ex-wife's cell phone.

6/7/11 3:47 p.m. An estranged husband signed his wife's name to the back of an IRS check and deposited it in his own account.

6/7/11 6:35 p.m. Four high-spirited juveniles were observed jumping off the bridge of the Kelok Canal.

6/8/11 11:03 a.m. A drunken man relieved himself on a Mercedes parked at the dog park on Stafford.

6/8/11 8:47 p.m. Persons installing a carpet at a site on Greenridge Drive were warned they were being too loud.

6/9/11 1:17 a.m. A 23-year-old man was cited for violation of the noise ordinance on McVey Avenue.

6/9/11 10:10 a.m. Bryson Gene Liberty, 83, registered as a sex offender.

6/9/11 12:22 p.m. A man playing music from his red BMW at an ear-splitting level at Second Street and D Avenue was warned that if he kept it up he would be issued a citation.

6/9/11 12:44 p.m. Two baby ducks fell down a drain on Hopkins Lane, but an officer rescued them and returned them to the welcoming wings of their mama duck.

6/10/11 9:59 a.m. A strange elderly woman flagged down a motorist and gave her a number to call for help. But the number was no good and the woman disappeared.

6/10/11 10:29 a.m. A student admitted to breaking an exterior window at a junior high school, although it was determined the incident was not intentional.

6/10/11 1:01 p.m. A woman became alarmed when she found her application for a credit card thrown on the ground next to her mailbox.

6/10/11 12:30 p.m. A rogue car parker keeps illegally parking his car in disabled parking spaces at Mercantile Medical.

6/10/11 6:58 p.m. A window broken out of a BMW caused $500 in damage.

6/10/11 9:26 p.m. A car full of juveniles drove down Melrose Street with the occupants shooting off airsoft guns at passers-by.

6/10/11 10:25 p.m. A woman arrived at her home on Upper Drive to find two men hiding under trees in her yard. They were last seen bolting toward Lake Grove Avenue.

6/10/11 10:39 p.m. A son was repulsed when his mother came home with two friends who had been drinking and smoking.

6/11/11 12:45 a.m. A male wearing a backpack was seen going through mailboxes on Reese Road.

6/11/11 5:36 p.m. Kids on Melrose Street were running in front of cars as they drove by.

6/11/11 10:09 p.m. Kids were playing tag in traffic on Blue Heron Road and South Shore Boulevard.

6/12/11 1:22 p.m. The dribbling of a basketball across the street from her house is causing a woman to be disturbed.

6/12/11 2:15 p.m. Black paint was poured on the west side of the building of Forest Hills Elementary School.

6/12/11 4:23 p.m. A hungry young woman went to a residence on Ridgeway Road and asked for a bite to eat. She is also looking for a place to stay for the summer.

6/12/11 9:49 p.m. A case of ID theft turned out to actually be a case of harassment.

6/13/11 9:40 a.m. A 79-year-old woman showed up at Rivergrove Elementary School and pushed a teacher. She was then removed from the school grounds.

6/13/11 12:22 p.m. When an electrical inspector showed up at a residence he found a deceased 67-year-old man.

6/13/11 9:24 p.m. Three kids on motorized bikes and a go-cart were going up and down alleys on Third Street and C Avenue.

6/13/11 11:46 p.m. A loud group of juveniles on Melrose Street was making a lot of noise while pretending to sell lemonade.

FRAUD

6/10/11 1:52 p.m. An ex-husband thinks his ex-wife might be fabricating medical bills.

6/11/11 5:04 p.m. A woman's debit card was fraudulently used.

6/13/11 9:22 a.m. Three attempts were made to take money out of an ATM in Las Vegas on a woman's debit card.

6/13/11 9:16 p.m. A theft of $1,250 in cash was reported.
