Washington Cultural Grants are on-line


HILLSBORO - The Washington County Arts, Heritage and Humanities Coalition opened its 2007 grant cycle Feb. 26 and will be taking applications for grants after that date.

Any Washington County based not-for-profit arts, heritage and humanities organizations may apply for $1,000 or $2,000 grants.

Online applications and detailed grant guidelines for the Community Cultural Participation grant program are available online through the Regional Arts and Culture Council website at www.racc.org/CountyApps.

Interested parties are encouraged to attend one of two grant orientation sessions.

The first is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, Administrative Conference Room, 8245 S.W. Barnes Road, Portland call 503-297-5544 for directions to the location.

The second session will be Thursday, March 8 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Tualatin Heritage Center, 8700 S.W. Sweek Drive, Tualatin, call 503-885-1926 for directions. Attendees are encouraged to park near the Police Station.
