City welcomes new members

FAIRVIEW - Two new members of the Fairview planning commission were sworn at the City Council meeting Wednesday night, March 7.

John 'Jack' McGiffin is a retired business proposal consultant who has lived in Fairview for five years. He is a member of the Jaycees and held several management positions with IBM and Lockheed Martin.

Keith Kudrna, a home designer and draftsman, has also lived in Fairview for five years.

He has volunteered with the East Hill Church high school group.

They join Gary Stonewall, a construction safety officer; Maureen Zehendner, a commercial archaeologist; Jan Shearer, a retired TriMet public relations official; Ed Jones, a city of Portland plant examiner; and Steve Kauffman, who works at a window company.
