The Lakeridge High School ski teams completed another successful season by finishing fourth in the combined competition at the state championships that were held recently at Mount Ashland.
The Lakeridge boys also placed fourth in the giant slalom event. That team was led by three seniors - Ryan Davidson, Avery Harrel and Andrew Muller - all of whom posted solid times in both runs in the March 2 competition.
Muller placed 12th individually while Davidson was 18th and Harrell was 26th. Also competing for the Lakeridge boys were Mike Metke, Ryan Grady and Weston Cooper.
In the girls competition, Lakeridge sophomore Alex Loren placed 20th in the combined GS and slalom events. In addition, Cassie Loren was 32nd and Jenna Conan wound up 41st in the combined races.
The Lakeridge girls team, which included Melissa Gerson, Meghan King and Anna Carlson, placed eighth in the overall team competition.
The Lake Oswego boys, meanwhile, took 14th in the giant slalom event and 17th in the combined competition. That team included Joseph Alston, Jake Davis, Matthew Knoop, Macgregor Hodgson, Ryan Toal and Greg Wells. Amy Beth Simanton also represented the Lake Oswego girls team.
