Next: The LumberJax (2-8) play at San Jose (3-5) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and then entertain the Stealth next Saturday in the Rose Garden. Portland will vie with San Jose and Edmonton for the National Lacrosse League Western Division's fourth playoff spot.

Refresher course: The Jax, who had dreams of playing for the NLL title, have lost eight consecutive games.

Trade deadline: General manager/coach Derek Keenan already has made some moves to shake up the roster. Is he done? The NLL trade deadline is Tuesday, the two-thirds point of the season. Teams have until Thursday to submit their rosters for the rest of the season.

About the Stealth: San Jose's Colin Doyle is tied for 20th in the NLL in points (nine goals-31 assists-40 points) while Jeff Zywicki is tied for 23rd (24-15-39). Portland's Ryan Powell is tied for 27th (17-21-38), just ahead of two other Stealth players. San Jose is second to Edmonton in penalty kill conversions (63.5 percent).
