There is a danger in singling out a specific theater performance, but we can't let the closing of Theatre in the Grove's engaging production of 'Into the Woods' pass without a tip of the hat.
From Jodi Coffman's riveting portrayal of the witch and the side-splitting duo (Jacob Mott and Corey Christiansen) in 'Agony' to the student musicians in the orchestra pit, director Dan Harry and Co. provided a wonderful, thought-provoking journey into a fairy tale world.
The fact that a small community theater can attract the talent recently on stage is a credit to the local arts community and the patrons who support it. So to all who had a hand in Theatre in the Grove's recent run, please take another bow.
