Lamb's Palisades Market has been awarded the annual Youth Friendly Business Award by Lake Oswego Asset Builders Coalition.
LOABC cited the store's sponsorship of school fundraising activities, the regular posting of announcements for school activities, consistent record of hiring high school-age youth for summer and after-school jobs plus the ability to create an atmosphere at the store where youth feel welcome, valued and respected as grounds for the award.
LOABC presented the award to Nick Goldsmith and Bob Lamb, co-owners of Palisades Market at the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner held March 14 at Oswego Lake Country Club.
