The Lakeridge High School dance team placed fourth in the 6A Small Division behind teams from Reynolds, Sheldon and Benson high schools. It marked the first time in almost 10 years that the still-growing team placed in its division's top five. The team's competition theme was 'passion' and they danced to 'Tainted Love' by Marilyn Manson, 'Weight of the World' by Evanescence and 'Ramalama Bang Bang' by Roisin Murphy. Team members are: Anna Larsson, Lily Schauffler, Leah Winslow, Marisa Anhaltzer, Whitney Berry, Jessi Gates, Libby Israel, Meagan Ledesma, Sarah McGee, Tori Misell, Abby Poindexter and Taylor Sanders. The team is coached by Abigail Mortimore and Kim Block.
