Katie Dolphin and Kevin Faulk of Temple, Texas, were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Gresham.
The bride's father walked her down the aisle for the double-ring ceremony officiated by Father Richard Sirianni. She carried an heirloom handkerchief that her mother and grandmother carried in their own weddings.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Nancy Dolphin of Gresham. She graduated from Barlow High School in 2003 and will graduate from Pacific University this year.
The groom is the son of Van and Kathie Faulk of Milwaukie. He graduated from Milwaukie High School in 1999, and Clackamas Community College in 2005. He is serving in an Army infantry unit.
Laura Hill, the bride's friend of Portland, was the maid of honor. The bride's friends Shannon Tillman of Fremont, Calif., Anna Saban of Evergreen, Colo., and Stephanie Dick of Corvallis, also attended the bride, along with the groom's sister, Tiffany Faulk of Milwaukie.
Darren Faulk, the groom's cousin of Corvallis, was the best man. The bride's brother, Kevin Dolphin of Gresham, the groom's friend Kyle Alexander of Forest Grove, the bride's friend Evan Shute of Yakima, Wash., and the groom's cousin, Kelby Faulk of Hillsboro, also attended the groom.
A reception was held at Lakeside Gardens in Portland immediately following the ceremony. Kevin and Katie Faulk are making their home in Fort Hood, Texas.
