Boys tennis 3-1 after preseason

Team has one of the best records in district

Having finished their preseason, the Estacada High School varsity boys' tennis team is now 3-1 and has one of the best records in 4A Special District 1.

The Rangers opened the season with an 8-0 win over Molalla. Then, they split matches with Sandy and wound up on the losing end, 3-5. Last week, Estacada beat Cascade on the road on Tuesday and Stayton at home on Thursday. The Cougars fell 7-1 and the Eagles crashed in a 5-3 Estacada victory.

The Rangers will begin the part of the season that matters most with a 3-1 record, but that doesn't mean the sails won't get ruffled. Estacada is the only public school in Special District 1.

Estacada will return after Spring Break to begin conference play at Catlin Gable on Thursday, April 5, at 3:30 p.m.
