Robber strikes again
A second armed robbery at a Plaid Pantry in Lake Oswego has police on the hunt for a man who may have committed both crimes.
Police were searching for a suspect who robbed the Plaid Pantry on Lakeview Boulevard at gunpoint March 17 when a second, similar robbery was reported at the Plaid Pantry on Pilkington Road March 23.
A gunman made off with cash and some items in both incidents. The suspect indicated but did not show a gun in the second robbery.
Witnesses in both incidents described the robber as a white male in his late 20s, standing 5 feet, 9 to 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
After the March 17 incident, the suspect was described as very pale with a bald or shaved head, clean-shaven and wearing sunglasses and a black Carhartt jacket over a white hooded sweatshirt.
On March 23, the suspect was described as wearing a black beanie and ski mask, sunglasses, black jacket, pants and carrying a black backpack.
In both incidents, a canine track failed to lead police to the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 503-635-0250.
