Three vie for two seats on school board

Seat 5 will be contested in May

Three residents have filed for two seats on the Sherwood School Board's May 15 election.

The filing deadline to file for the four-year terms was March 15.

In the Position 1 seat, incumbent Kevin Noreen has filed to run for his seat with no challengers.

In the Position 5 seat, Sue Hekker and John Miller are running for a position that will be vacated by board member Wayne Lowry.

Noreen, who has served for four years, is development review coordinator for the Clackamas County Department of Transportation and Development.

Hekker is a sales representative for Schering Plough and Miller works in insurance and membership sales for AAA Oregon.

Ballots will be mailed to Sherwood residents on April 27.
