The Springwater Grange raised money for scholarships and donated dictionaries to elementary students among other projects this year.

In fact, the Grange was quite active this year. Some of the community service projects Grange members participated in were as follows:

In November, the Grange presented a dictionary to each third-grade student at Clackamas River Elementary.

The Grange collected food and hygiene items for the Estacada Area Food Bank in December (and continues this at their regular meetings).

The annual Springwater Grange Pie Auction raised $3,300 in February for scholarships to be awarded to students who have completed at least one year of higher education.

In March, a week after the dinner theater performances, a benefit performance grossed $350 for the Estacada Area Food Bank. The Garfield Grange served dessert at the benefit show.

The Grange welcomes new members and appreciates the support from the community. To join the Grange, or to be a part in any of the organization's activities, call 503-630-6238 or 503-630-4574.
