Police find man with gunshot wound after fight call
Officers follow bloody trail back to house, but victim won't cooperate
Beaverton police are trying to sort out what happened early Saturday morning when they found a man who had been shot in a disturbance near Southwest Allen Boulevard and Dale Avenue.
Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Wandell said officers responded to a call at about 3:05 a.m. and found the man with a gunshot to his arm. He was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening wounds.
Police followed a blood trail to a Dale Avenue residence, but were stymied in their investigation because the wounded man has not cooperated.
Wandell said it appeared there was some kind of fight at the Dale Avenue house because officers found a broken knife and learned that several rounds had been fired from a handgun.
The wounded man's name has not been released.
