Off the field, the emphasis is on selling season tickets. 'The players deserve a home-field advantage,' new coach Jerry Glanville says. 'And we don't want anybody in the Big Sky wanting to come here.'
Spring practice begins Monday with 12 returning starters, seven on offense, four on defense and the kicker (Eric Azorr), if the NCAA accepts the petitions of Azorr, running back Mu'Ammar Ali, and receiver Tremayne Kirkland for another year of eligibility.
The spring game is 6 p.m. May 12 at PGE Park, and gates will open at 3 p.m., so fans will have time to pick their seats.
'For us to recruit better in the future, we have to have more support at our games,' Glanville says. 'I think people will like watching the way we play.'
