Winners have been an-nounced in the annual Lake Oswego Farmers' Market poster contest. In the adult category, Kathryn Callahan won; in the youth category, Charlie Kachel, 11, won.

Callahan's poster shows a cluster of vegetables centered around market information. Kachel's poster shows a bin of vegetables with Millennium Plaza Park, Fortuna the statue and Lake View Village in the background.

More than 100 entries were received, setting a record for participation in the contest, said Mary Miller, market manager.

Opening day for the market is May 19. It will run to Oct. 13. Market hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
