Mt. Hood Rock Club Annual Rock, Craft and Gem Show

This long-standing community event is decidedly more entertaining than a box of rocks.

Event highlights include the Easter (thunder) egg hunt for 1,000 polished rocks along with 26 vendors offering rocks, stones and gems for sale.

Belmont Firehouse Safety Saturday

The Historic Belmont Firehouse, Safety Learning Center and Museum holds its second Safety Saturday this weekend, a recurring event that takes place the second Saturday of each month.

In addition to safety programs, children can check out 'The Fire Engine Experience,' a high-tech simulator housed in the cab of a real 40,000-pound fire engine.
