Springfield resident Katie Jaclynn Burrell and Fairview resident Chase Aaron Wells were married at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene.

The bride's father accompanied her down the aisle for the double-ring ceremony officiated by Pastor Ralf Kalms.

The bride is the daughter of Mac and Jill Burrell of Springfield. She is a 2006 Western Oregon University graduate.

She is a teller coordinator for US Bank.

The groom is the son of Lonnie and Char Wells of Fairview.

He is a 2006 Western Oregon University graduate.

He is an educational assistant for the Gresham-Barlow School District and is the track and cross country coach at Gresham High School.

Jaime Horton, the bride's friend of Eugene, was the maid of honor. Sara Burrell, the bride's sister-in-law of Tualatin, was matron of honor. Kylee Hutchins, the groom's sister of Portland, also attended the bride.

Scott Hutchins, the groom's brother-in-law, was the best man. Paul Burrell, the bride's brother of Eugene, and Brian Carriere, the groom's cousin of Gresham, also attended the groom.

A reception was held at Mallard Hall in Eugene immediately following the ceremony. The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise.

Chase and Katie Wells are making their home in Fairview.
