THURSDAY, JUNE 23
Email Computer Class - 10 a.m. to noon, Gresham Library. Learn how to set up an email account with Gmail. Participants must be comfortable using a keyboard and mouse. Register online, in the library or call 503-988-5234.
Read and Romp (1 to 3 years) - 10 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library. Time for young children and their caregivers to play together.
Family Storytime - 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to age 6, with an adult.
Preschool Storytime - 11:15 a.m. to noon, Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children ages 3 to 6, with an adult.
FRIDAY, JUNE 24
Professor Banjo - noon to 1 p.m., Rockwood Library. Paul Silveria performs as Professor Banjo, entertaining children with sing-a-longs, dancing games and musical stories, all accompanied by lively music that children can enjoy. Recommended for children ages 3-10 and their families.
Mr. Lizard's Mobile Zoo - 2 to 3 p.m., Troutdale Library. Entertaining children and adults alike with his mobile reptile zoo, Mr. Lizard provides an interactive, hands-on experience like no other.
SATURDAY, JUNE 25
Taiko Drumming Workshop for Teens - 2 to 3 p.m., Fairview Park bandstand, Village Street. This workshop is an introduction to taiko, the art and form of drumming that has its roots in ancient Japanese culture. The event will be held rain or shine.
Intercambio/Language Exchange - 4 to 5:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. Engage in conversation with native English speakers who want to practice Spanish and native Spanish speakers who want to practice their English.
