Scappoose Library announces summer storytimes
The Scappoose Public Library is offering a variety of programs and events for youth this summer.
The collaborative, multi-state 2011 Summer Reading theme deals with travel and world culture. The children's slogan is: One World, Many Stories; and the teen's slogan is: You Are Here.
Children of all ages and teens will have opportunities to participate in programs and read to win some outstanding prizes. The prizes include 2011 Summer Reading-themed t-shirts, water bottles, boomerangs and book bags.
Here are just some of the upcoming reading events. Check back in the future for more summer reading opportunities.
