Bruce K. Mason died June 10, 2011. He was 57.
Mr. Mason was born on Jan. 28, 1954, to Daryl K. and Carol Mason in Portland. He grew up in Lake Oswego and attended Lake Oswego High School, where he was a member of the Lakers Aweigh choir.
He attended the University of Oregon and made his career in industrial sales.
Mr. Mason was a talented singer and often sang at weddings, parties and at karaoke bars. He enjoyed Oregon Duck football and was an avid Portland Trailblazer fan. He also enjoyed sailing, playing tennis, running and golf.
Survivors include his mother Carol Mason, brothers Larry and Ron Mason and sister-in-law Sara.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held June 29 at 1 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 15751 Quarry Road in Lake Oswego.
Remembrances may be sent to charities for cats or to the charity of one's choice.
Robert Rueda died June 15, 2011, surrounded by his family in Lake Oswego. He was 87.
He was born June 23, 1923, in Lompoc, Calif. He was an entrepreneur and inventor and for many years was active in the restaurant business. Mr. Rueda always looked for ways to help those less fortunate than he.
Mr. Rueda's survivors include his wife Kathryn, his children Richard Rueda of Solida, Calif., and Robyn Millane of Lake Oswego, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A service was held June 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
