The Lake Oswego Rotary Club held its annual Lobster Feed and Charity Auction Saturday at the Lakewood Center for the Arts. Rotary targeted the charity Shelter Box as the main recipient. More than $30,000 was raised for this international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter, food and supplies for people displaced or homeless. Top: The Lake Oswego Rotary Lobster Singers signal the start of the 500 lobster dinners being served Saturday. The singers include, from left, Peter Jurney, Bill Warner, Linda Brown and Mitchell and Ian Monihan. In an effort to be sustainable, Rotarians went to the extra effort this year to sort and recycle everything used to put on the dinner and auction.
