People of all ages gathered May 3 near the flag pole at Lake Oswego City Hall to participate in the National Day of Prayer. The group, which included students and teachers from Our Lady of the Lake and representatives from other Lake Oswego churches, prayed for the nation, its troops, states and cities, government, civil workers, schools, churches and families. They offered prayers of thanksgiving for freedom and God's faithfulness to the American public.
