Gresham residents at the Big Eddy Marina discovered a body in the Columbia River on Saturday afternoon.
Multnomah County Sheriff's Office River Patrol recovered the body, identified as that of an adult male, on the eastside of a row of houseboats at the 19600 block of Northeast Marine Drive at about 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, said Sgt. Travis Gullberg, sheriff's office spokesman.
Detectives are trying to identify the body and are examining missing person reports, but the man could be from anywhere along the Columbia River, Gullberg said.
Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to call the sheriff's office, 503-255-3600.
