Natural Areas Program at Fairview Farmers' Market - 4 to 8 p.m., Fairview Farmers' Market, 1601 N.E. Market Drive. Discover the nature parks in your area and learn what events are taking place this summer. Metro's Natural Areas team will be at the farmers market discussing local programs, volunteer opportunities and the work being done to promote water quality, wildlife habitat and outdoor recreation. American Mensa Admission Test - 6:30 p.m., Hilton Portland and Executive Tower, Council Suite, 921 S.W. Sixth Ave., Portland. The Mensa test will be offered in conjunction with American Mensa's national convention. Registration opens at 6 p.m. The test takes about two hours to complete and is open to the general public, ages 14 and older; a parent or legal guardian must be present at registration for teens age 17 or younger. Plant Explorations at Blue Lake - 1 to 5 p.m., Blue Lake Regional Park, 20500 N.E. Marine Drive, Fairview. (Also held on July 2.) Learn how seeds travel, stems sprout, plants grow, or how flowers make fruit in a beautiful children's garden. Enjoy fun activities such as potato printing, bookmark making, flower origami or leaf rubbings. For ages 3 and up; adult supervision is required. Free program. Parking $5 for cars, $7 for buses and free for bicycles and pedestrians. Located next to the water spray ground inside Blue Lake Regional Park. This is a drop-in program; no registration is necessary.

Around the Campfire at Oxbow - 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., Oxbow Regional Park, 3010 S.E. Oxbow Parkway. Join master storyteller Will Hornyak for an evening of Northwest myths, legends and tall tales.
