A case of bad memory
Although that's what was originally reported, a theft at the Trainer's Club turned out to be something a little less … shall we say, memorable.
On June 15, a female client at the club told Lake Oswego Police that her backpack, sweater and vest, keys for a vehicle and makeup - altogether valued at $900 - had been stolen from her locker.
The theft was noted in the Police Blotter last Thursday in the Lake Oswego Review. Last Friday, an employee of the Trainer's Club notified us that the theft was not a theft after all.
Instead, after checking out nearby lockers at the club, all of the victim's belongings were found in another locker. Apparently the forgetful victim had forgotten her locker number, triggering the problem.
