Charges to be dropped against accused killer
Isaiah Eric Mandley Jr. released from jail
Murder charges will be dismissed Tuesday against the accused killer of Leonard James 'LJ' Irving.
Isaiah Eric Mandley Jr., 23, was released from jail in Clark County, Wash., Monday. According to the police, Mandley was released and the charges will be dropped because homicide detectives received new information in the case. The Multnomah County district attorney's office was involved in the decision.
Mandley was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, in Vancouver, Wash. He was accused of shooting Irving, 34, at around 12:37 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast 82nd Avenue and Thompson Street in Portland.
Lamar Lovette Hill, 21, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck in the shooting and was treated at an area hospital. Jeray Lashawn Jessie, 21, walked into an area hospital sometime later with a gunshot wound to the forearm from the same incident.
