Lake Oswego Police Department recently came upon a structure that was best filed under the category of 'suspicious circumstances.'

Near Iron Mountain Boulevard, by the railroad tracks, police found that someone had cut down trees and built a fort on the hillside.

Police couldn't find the tree cutter at the site. But they did decipher why he or she built it: To be used as a nature watch observatory.
