LOJWC awards funds to charities

The Lake Oswego Junior Women's Club just completed awarding grants for its 2006 to 2007 year.
Checks totaling $100,200 were written and sent to 39 different metro area charities. The donations included six scholarships to Lake Oswego and Lakeridge high school seniors.
The largest grant ($16,000) went to Community Transitional School.
